Listen to the peaceful murmur of the nearby Grobbelaar's River while you relax in the sparkling saltwater swimming pool with unspoilt views on the surrounding mountains. Don't be surprised if, from those mountains, you hear the distinct whistle call of the Klipspringers in the moonlight or at sunrise. A half an hour walk on the succulent trail, will work up your appetite for a hearty traditional farm-style breakfast, either in the African dining room, on the thatched covered stoep or on the open-air deck.
Lunch and dinner are also available on request, as well as a traditional barbecue. Three-course meals consisting of five types of meat including ostrich fillet, or a home cooked dinner with leg of Karoo super lamb, bobotie, kudu steak, ostrich neck and other ostrich dishes are also available at the cosy Old Mill Restaurant across the river. Adventurous activities, i.e. horse riding, quad biking, mountain biking, kayaking, rock climbing and abseiling can be arranged on your request.
