Take the N1 to Worcester and the R60 to Montagu. Continue on the R62 through Barrydale, Ladismith and Calitzdorp to Oudtshoorn. In Oudtshoorn continue straight until you reach Baron Van Reede Street (3rd traffic light) and turn left. Continue straight towards the Cango Caves. After +- 14km, De Opstal Country Lodge is situated on the left, alongside the road.
(Garden Route) Take the N9/N12 over the Outeniqua pass to Oudtshoorn. In Oudtshoorn, continue straight along the main road to the Cango Caves. After 14km De Opstal is situated on the left, alongside the road.
From Beaufort West :
(N1 from Gauteng) Take the N12 from Beaufort West through Meiringspoort and De Rust to Oudtshoorn. In Oudtshoorn continue straight to Baron Van Reede Street (3rd traffic light). Turn right into Baron Van Reede street towards the Cango Caves and continue for 14km. De Opstal is situated on the left, alongside the road.
